According to the working principle of the Turbochargers, some problems should be paid attention to when using an engine with a turbocharger:
1. After the engine is started, it should run at idle speed for a while, so that the lubricating oil reaches a certain working temperature and pressure, so as to avoid accelerated wear or even stuck due to the lack of oil in the bearing when the load is suddenly increased.
2. When the vehicle is stopped, since the rotation of the supercharger rotor has a certain inertia, the engine should be turned off immediately, and it should be run at an idle speed for a period of time, so that the temperature and speed of the supercharger rotor will gradually decrease. Immediately extinguishing the flame will cause the oil to lose pressure, and the rotor will be damaged when it is not lubricated when it rotates by inertia.
3. Check the oil quantity frequently to avoid bearing failure and rotating parts stuck due to lack of oil.
4. Regularly replace the oil and machine filter. Because the full floating bearing has high requirements for lubricating oil, the brand oil specified by the manufacturer should be used.
5. Regularly clean and replace the air filter element. If the air filter is dirty, the air intake resistance will increase and the engine power will decrease.
6. Always check the airtightness of the intake system. Air leakage will cause dust to be sucked into the supercharger and engine, and damage the supercharger and engine.
7. Due to the high precision of the turbocharger rotor bearing, the working environment requirements during maintenance and installation are very strict, so when the turbocharger is faulty or damaged, it should be repaired at the designated maintenance station.
